Using up my Scraps

I have been using up my scraps.  I had a whole set of wipes I was gonna add but then I spilled coffee all over them.  Now my son has new wipes! In any event I have 4 momma pad seconds and 4 doublers that can also be used as momma pads.

The momma pads are back with PUL.  The tops are flannel.  There is a hidden layer of flannel in each one to which the soaker is sewn to.  All are 11.5 inches long except for the solid blue which is just under 11 inches long.  These are odd shaped because they are seconds.  They were scrapes that have found new life.

The 2 with the solid PUL have hemp as soakers.The others have flannel soakers. 

The doubler sizes are as follows: The blue hearts on white is 14 inches long and 3.5 inches wide when folded.  It is quick dry and is 6 layers of flannel when folded. 

The Purple One Patch is 4.5 inches wide and 12 inches long.  It is topped with microfleece. 

The small blue flowers quick dry doubler is 4 inches wide and 12 inches long.  It is 2 layers of flannel, 1 layer of sherpa and 1 of suede when folded.  

The solid blue doubler is 14 inches long and 3 inches wide. It is topped with velour.

All in Ones

My All in Ones are made with either PUL or Malden Mills Windpro.  The have the same construction as my fitteds with 3 layers of fabric for the body and Aplix closures.

Christmas: The outer is 2 mil woven PUL that features drums, mistletoe, soldiers and angels on a white background. Inner is deep blue flannel. This is a true all in one with a hidden layer with the soaker is sewn in. The soaker is 3 layers of terry. The inner blue flannel may bleed a little but should wash right out. I have made 2 of these for my boys and I really like them.

Blue: The outer is 2 mil PUL in a solid blue, tabs are a multi colored block pattern. 2 Layers of flannel for the body. Soaker is quick dry and 1 layer of knit terry and 1 layer of matching woven to the tabs. 
Medium: $10.00

Bear on blue with Patchworks: Pul outer in a cute blue with Bears and plaid squares. Inner is Bamboo Velour. Soaker is quick dry and made of knit terry, bamboo velour and flannel.

Fitted Diapers

All my diapers have 3 layers of fabric.  The Fabric type can vary from diaper to diaper, but the construction remains the same.  Even the quick dry version has 3 layers for the body.  I tun and Top stitch my diapers, which means you get a nice clean look to your diaper, no ruffles to stick inside covers, no worrying if your boy diaper looks like a girl diaper.  I do not add stitching around the elastic to keep messes where they belong.  Its also gentler on your babies skin.  All my diapers are made with Aplix, a hook and loop closure that is similar to Velcro.  However Aplix is a higher quality hook and loop closure and often times it will out last your diaper.

Cost changes as the fabric changes.  The higher quality of fabric the higher the price. All flannel diapers will be your least expensive followed by a Woven or Knit.  Bamboo and Hemp will be the most expensive. However they are also the softest and most absorbent. They are also organic.

Red White and Blue: Cotton woven outer stripped with white and blue with red stars. Red microfleece inner to keep babies bottom dry. A hidden layer with 3 layers of terry sewn in.

Hockey: Cute Hockey flannel outer and blue velour inner. The soaker is 3 layers of terry sewn in to the hidden layer of flannel. What a great way to get daddy to change a diaper. Who can resist this cute print? Even the diaper wearer wants a change when this what they get to put on!

Jack-o-lantern: Outer is cotton woven featuring a variety of halloween Pumpkins on a black back ground. Inner is knit and has hidden layer with a sewn in soaker.

Bubbly Blue Dots: Outer is Blue Dots Flannel. Inner is Flannel. Soaker is sewn in and is 3 layers of terry. Closes with Aplix.

Witches: The outer a cotton woven which is purple with witches on brooms and the yellow moon. Inner is purple flannel and this is a quick dry with a fold out soaker.

Medium: 5.50

Large: 6.50

Skulls Bamboo: The outer a cotton woven which is black with skulls and has sparkles all over. Inner is bamboo terry and this is a quick dry with a fold out soaker which is matching cotton and bamboo.

White with Colorful Dots: Inner is bamboo and the outer is this cute cotton woven print. The soaker 3 layers of terry sewn into the hidden layer.

Welcome to Bizzee Bees!

I am back online and soon with all new products.  I am hosting my site through Blogger and hope the new format is easier both for you and I.  I will spend much less time now listing new products, which means more time hanging out with all of you!

Right now I am working on some newborn diapers for my brother who is expecting a little girl on the 28th. I am very excited to be an aunt as well as help out a family with what is normally a huge expense.
